We will present two examples, one focused on residency (think exemptions, collections, assets, police, fire, and courts) and the other on businesses (license, health, safety, tax). These two solutions cut across multiple agencies and their ability to keep up with a constantly shifting environment and it is possible for IT and GIS to be at the forefront.
