About me

Wendell Salas is Senior Data Analyst and Modeler for the Boulder County Assessor’s Office, where he has worked for over 3 years. He develops residential and commercial models for Boulder County and works with the Assessor’s staff to improve data collection, quality, and integrity. Prior to working at Boulder County, Mr. Salas spent 23 years working as an Engineer and Technical Advisor for an Oil & Gas Services Company where he specialized in hydraulic fracture modeling, production enhancement design, and field studies. Mr. Salas has co-authored several Society of Petroleum Engineers technical papers on related subjects and has presented his works at Oil & Gas industry technical conferences. He has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University and an M.S. degree in Data Analytics from Colorado State University – Global.
